I created my report in Report Writer i.e. GR31. I generated the report group. Now I cannot find my report in order to execute it. Any ideas as to how I can find and execute my report?
I have tried this to no avail - i.e. GR33 does not generate the actual report but just takes me back to the parmaeters that I have set up. Further, the report has been created as I can see it in the library group in transaction GR53
I have checked on several tables and the report is there. my probelm is that I wnat to generate/execute and view the actual report in the same way as one can do in Report Painter i.e. GRR3
If the report in question was created using GR31 (Report Writer), it won't show up in GRR3 . Even if it shows up in GRR3, you won't be able to execute it. To be able to execute such a report through GRR3, you would have to use report painter(GRR1) in the creation of the report.
The only way you can execute the report you created using report writer is through GR55 or GR33. In GR33, enter the library and the report and then click on Report on the Menu Bar and then execute. You can generate and execute the report through this way. GR55 works the same way as well.
