Cross clients means the changes will be effected on all clients belong to the same server i.e. usually in implementation phase, on DEV server, there are 3 clients created i.e. one for playing, one only for configuration and one only for user testing, so cross client changes in one client of DEV server will effect all three clients created on the server.

It will not effect client on different server i.e. usually servers of DEV, QAS AND PRD are different. If they are on same server, cross client changes will effect them as well.

Hi

How is your system landscape? Example while logged in you only changing the client and loggin in for both production as well as Development ( Where you make changes to MB51). Then no need of transport.

Thanks

Yes if PRD is on different server and transport takes place from DEV to PRD, the changes will get effected on PRD through transport.

If PRD is on the same server as on DEV, no need to transport changes as cross client changes on same server will get effected on all clients.

It means, the changes will reflect in all the clients.... not pertaining to specific company code
