MMBE does not show sales order stock but MD04 shows sales order requirements

Hello,

In MMBE for a particular material/plant/storage location, Unrestricted stock =100 and in detailed display, sales order stock= zero. That means no sales order has requirements for this material.

but in MD04, for the same material/Plant, we can see some sales orders passing requirements .

Why MMBE does not show sales order stock, when we can see some requirements against some sales orders in MD04. These sales orders in MD04 are normal stock

Hello

You should never compare MD04 with MMBE. They are different transactions and they can show different data.

While MMBE shows only the stock, MD04 will also show receipts and requirements. Additionally, there is a customizing behind MD04, which defined the availability of some kinds of stock types. Therefore, even the total stock may be different in transaction MD04.

What is the requirment type in sales order procrument tab?

If possible please share the screen shot of MD04 and MMBE

Hi,

MMBE/MB52 show the current stock in the plant/storage location. It is a "photograph" of what it is there, it shows stock even if it's "promised" to a customer in a sales document.

For seeing ATP (Available To Promise) stock, check transactions CO09/MD04.
