POC for Multiple Project in SAP PS

Hi Gurus,

We use cost based POC for large revenue projects. And currently, we have a request from busines to use a combined POC instead of individual POC to calculate RA values for multiple projects which are under the same contract with customer.

Example- we want to use the combined POC 13.33% to calculate AccRevenue for Project A and Project B instead of the individual POC.

Can we achieve the goal thru configuration or any user-exit can be used for this purpose? Please kindly advise.

Since SAP RA calculates RA separately for each WBS with a RA key it can't be done with standard configuration.

RA Method (7) could be used to meet your requirement. It is POC Method using Progress Version. It is designed to be used with PS Progress Analysis. Progress Analysis calculates POC based on project factors and posts the POC to a Statistical Key Figure. You can use this method without running Progress Analysis and post the POC to the SKF yourself.

You would need a custom program to calculate the POC and post it to the SKF or you can post the SKF manually.

Keep in mind that this method is different from cost based POC in that it will adjust the P&L Costs as well as the Revenues. The entered POC will be applied to the Planned Cost and the Planned Revenue to determine Revenue and Cost affecting net income.
