Hello,
We are seeing that we have a big problem. When we register a ABAP or J2EE sysmten in the SLD, it appear the host as the database host name.
We have all the instances in a distributed installation. It had to apper the hostname of the SAP application, no the hostname of
the database.
How can we change this?
Best regards.
Pablo Mortera.
Hi Pablo,
check RZ70 of SAP application system.

Udo

Hi
The hostname cannot change after installation of sap system. Because solution manager key generates from hostname .
If u change host name then system will not run.
If you want to change your Host name then you can perform import - export of sap system

Hello Pablo,
Ensure you're using the FQHN (Full Qualified Host Name) for your server.
For this, open the Exchange Profile and change all parameters that ends
in *.name to FQDN, and don't forget to restart the system to activate
the changes.
For more information about the FQHN, please check the notes below:
#773830 - FQHN determination in ICM
#654982 - URL requirements due to Internet standards
Ensure to apply the FQHN as per instructions on the note below:
#804124 - HTTP communication with XI Adapter Engine fails
Last please check if the parameter from the note below is correctly set:
#1278563 - Specification of message server host in Exchange Profile
If it still shows the wrong hostname in SLD, kindly follow the post-installation
checking the steps manually from the link below:
