Account determination

Dear All,

How to do automatic GL account determination based on Material group for a account assigned purchase order. Please throw some light on this.

GL account determination based on Material group for a account assigned purchase order

This can only possible for with out material master PO creation.

When u procure Material or service without master record. then u can use the material group with account assignment.

SPRO>MM>Purchasing>Account Assignment>Assign Default Values for Asset Class

There u can assign the G/L account.

Account determination will be done at OBYC.

But there is no GL account determination based on account group

Check on it:-

Best way will be Valuation class it attached to A/c Determination. Based on valuation Class Split up the Material Group.

hi

check following

in transaction OMSF we assign the VAL CLASS to the material group

now the account is assign to the GL account in OBYC

now when we use this material group with text in PO system detect valuation class from OMSF settings and then the GL account with OBYC settings
