We have following error message while XML validation.

Reason: '*' violates pattern constraint of '\p'.
The element 'init' with value '*' failed to parse.

How to identify the employee who has error from list of all employees?

Whether the 368 in above error is line number of employee who has error ?

The "init" is mapped to Middle name and one employee had a value " * " in Middle name.

Hence the error

"The element 'init' with value '*' failed to parse". Now that employee record is corrected, the error is resolved
