Hello All,
We want to implement two release starategy (1. Contracting Release Strategy 2. Contract Award Release Startegy) for RFQ.
Contracting Strategy:
25K M1
50K M2
100K M3
250K M4
Contract Award Startegy
5K SM1
20K SM2
50K SM3
100K SM4
250K SM5
I know one we can do via standard sap way & for second one will have to do enhancment. What would be the best way to implement this? what are the enhancments i can use?
Any help on this would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Y Sharma
Hi Yogesh Sharma ,
Contracting Strategy:
Contract Award Startegy
As per SAP standard only can use maximum 8 levels. if you are able manage with in 8 level then you can use standard release stratedy. release level no enchancements available.
Do config. like this.
create release group Ex: R1
Rel Code: M1.M2, M3, M4, SM1, SM2,SM3,SM4
release indicator create 2 release indicator. (In already exist then leave it).
Create rel. strategy. select create
1.---> C1 : Contracting Strategy
enter level : m1, m2.m3, m4
assign the sequence in release status & rel. indicator.
classification assign all the classification values. save & simulate.
Again create new release stratey.
SM : Contract award strategy.
Select the levels
SM1,SM2,SM3,SM4
then assign the release status with rel indicator.
assign classification values .
Save & Simulate
Now you can use 2 release strategy.

Thanks Sam for your response....
We will be having more than 8 level for sure...
Second release strategy should only trigger once first one is released...
Also suppose If the value is 99K then In case of contract award strategy, approval is required from SM1 SM2 SM3 SM4...
Contracting strategy is pretty staright forward & can be implemented via config...
Any more thoughts...
Thanks,

Hi,
I think your requrement little new concept.
because once release the 1 release strategy subsequently you want to apply new release strategy for the same document.
this is for all the the RFQ document. if yes,
then you can use all the release levels 8 levels in one order. why we have to create 2 release strategy.
Better create one rel. strategy with all 8 release levels.
i assumed if your requirement as above.
SAM
You are right...
Once first release strategy (contracting rel strategy) is released completly then we want to apply the second release strategy (contract award) on the whole RFQ document....
We can't merge these two release strategy in one as for the same condition approvers can be different, and once RFQ is approved by contracting approvers then only it should go for contract award approval...
Thanks,
Y Sharma
