PLM - SolidWorks 2010 (CAD) Integration

Hi,

We are implementing Cideon's interface for integrating SAP PLM and SolidWorks 2010. Our Basis folks followed the Manual (Guide) to implement the interface - customized DMS settings and imported the transports. But basic operations such as creating DIRs fail. There was no code for BADIs supplied to us. Is anyone of you aware of any BADI code that Cideon would supply (or probably available from SAP)?

Highly appreciate any pointers in this regard.

Thanks,

Gopi.

Hi Gopi,

You can find an up-to-date list of BAdIs for CAD desktop in SAP Note 600142. For more information about BAdIs in CAD desktop, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for CAD Desktop (CA-CAD) under BAdIs..as SolidWorks integration use the CAD Desktop you should look for the BADIs starting with CDESK: like CDESK_ADD_FUNCTION, CDESK_BADI_MAIN, CDESK_TBM_ADDIN,...

Thanks,

Hi Gopi,

on the SAP Servicemarketplace you'll find a couple of notes regarding the SAP pLM Integration for SolidWorks. Please search in the component area CA-CAD-LIB-WKS !

For any other support please open an OSS ticket on the same component.

Thanks, Rolf
