I've installed the new patch level and I am tring to install and configure the Integration Component. The install seems to work properly (I connect to the database okay), but when I start Business One I get the error message:
Cannot Connect to the B1i Server Server returned an error (500) Internal Server Error.
I found on the forum and in the documenation that this indicates that the B1i Server Address in the General Settings window may be incorrect. Here is the path I'm using:
I've looked this over several times and do not see anything wrong. I've also substituted my servername for localhost and that did not work.
Other information that may be relevant:
1. I have an named instance and followed the procedures for assigning different ports to each instance.
2. I tested the connections in the Connectivity list in Integration Application Explorer . Bothe the B1DI and JDBC failed. I changed the JBDC section to point to the correct port and it tested okay. I could not figure out where to add the port to the B1DI section.
3. I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything several times.
Any ideas or help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi Tom,
So can you connect to the B1DI and JDBC now without any errors?
If you do get errors what are they?
Cheers,
Lisa

I changed this link to the value below and the (500) internal error message no longer displays.

JDBC - Connects okay
B1DI - Connection fails with error message - com.sap.b1i.adapter.dia.exception.ConnectionFailedException: java.lang.NullPointerException
I am thinking that this connection is failing because of the named instance. I have not entered a port number anywhere in the configuartion for B1DI.
