Schedule smtp crystal reports on BOXI R2

I am trying to schedule crystal reports to be emailed.

I get following error

Error Message: server error. CrystalEnterprise.Smtp: SMTP_E_TCPSOCKET_OPEN(2)

I followed all instructions in this document

I am on Solaris , Business Objects XI R2. I have enabled EMAIL ( smtp) on reportjobserver

Any ideas?
