In IDM v8.0, SP6, in my DEV environment, I have an LDAP repository in my connector AD package. When I promote this package up to QA, will that repository come along for the ride or do I have to recreate my repository once I promote the package?
if it's a repository type, it will transported with your package. If it's a repository (=the "real" connector), you can export/import it through the web UI (idm/admin). It generates a csv that you can use.
In my experience, the content of the repositories are over-written with the default values (as if the repository was created new) after import. At least that happened with our imported repositories. But maybe that was a bug- eh.. feature with SP6. ^^
