In my request BEX, i donu2019t see medium text of my infoobejct, but when I want filter my infoobject, I can see the medium text.

Hi Francoise,

How are you executing the query?

Web report(Execute Query on the web) in Query Designer or using BEx analyzer?

Goto your Query design. Right click on the IO fo which you are not able to see the medium text, then change the Display as "Text" & in the drop down select "Medium Text". save the query.

If you execute it using Execute button in Query designer, you must be able to see the Medium Text data in the Query output.

If you are executing the report using BEx analyzer, you might not be able to see the Medium Text data.. You will have to get your workbooks refreshed.. But still you can change the settings at workbook. Right click> display Text> Medium Text.

Hi,

Check if alll texts (short/medium/long) is checked in master data/texts tabe of master data (Charecteristics object). If not then check accordingly. Check the settings in Business Explorere tab as well.

go to that infoobject and check that infoobject has tick mark for all small , medium and long and data is loaded for all of them .

Hi,

Check the text table of Info object /BIC/TINFOOBJECT in se16. Check if it is having values for medium text against required language key. If not then load accordingly.

Hi Franc,

From your question, I assume that you have maintained Medium text for the Info Object and you want to display medium text for the characteristic in BEx Report. From the Query Designer -> in the Properties tab of the characteristic, select the Display tab -> select the option Display as Text and in Text View drop down box Select Medium Text. Hope this is what you are looking for.
