Partial deliveries

Hello,

I have partial deliveries for line items in SO even after marking customer master settings (C - Only complete delivery required).This seems to be a standard SAP and not sure why there are partial deliveries. (but i can see awarning message saying "Full delivery required") Can we make this to error?

I have come across an OSS note : 546619, can this be implemented?

Note : Through Batchjob deliveries are created

In the customer (ship to party), Sales Area Data, Shipping Tab, make the Number of Partial deliveries allowed as 0. When you create a sales order for this particular customer, you will get to see that the number of partial deliveries are zero in sales order header,Shipping tab. This should not allow the system to create the partial delivery.

I think this should work for you.

Hi Gupta,

Did you try ticking the checkbox for ''Complete delivery required by Law''. This should give error message instead of warning.

Hi,

Did you try putting C ('Only complete delivery allowed') in 'Part.dlv./item' field at the line item level of the sales order shipping tab? When you do this, you can blank out the field 'Max.Part.Deliv.' You can try that once as well.

Yes, I have tried that.It dosent work.Still part.deliveries getting created

In the copy control VTLA, check for the source and the destination (say OR to LF), at the item level what is the Data Trasfer - Item data. If it is 101, change it to 202 and check if it works. This may work with 'Part.dlv./item = C' in the sales order item.

Else, you may have to write a routine which will check if the order is complete to be delivered and then assign it to Data Trasfer - Item data.
