ABAP Netweaver Trial Reinstallation message server NIECONN_REFUSED problem

hi ,

i am trying to reinstall SAP ABAP Netweaver but getting error in step 24 of 27. i am getting the following error.

Hi

it seems sapinst try to reach message server using port 3900, but cannot.

- Have you sure the message server is up and running?

- Maybe port 3900 is block by network, or in use in the affected systems?

hi,

how to check whether the port is free or blocked. problem can also be with loopback adapter as ip address it is using is shared by another adapter (tv adapter) that is hidden and i dont know hoe to change the ip address of the tv adapter. what to do
