Hi All,
We have implemented SP 9 of GRC. After uploading the text files and generated rules - the statistics in Rule Library is showing 0 for Permission level rules where as when we select Action in RUle library statistics are appearing . We didn't noticed this during the upload time.
However when we ran SoD Analysis reports at permission level, reports are generating at Permission level only and not at action level and even the permission rules are appearing properly under Rule Architecht - Rules - permission rules.
Why is it the statistics are showing 0 inspite of the rules generated at permission level? Is this a problem with SP9 ?
Please advise on how to solve
Thanks and Best Regards,
Srihari.K
Hi Sri,
In 5.3 SP09 rule generation logic has been changed in order to improve risk analysis performance. In SP09 rules are not stored anymore in the VIRSA_CC_PRMRULE table, that being the reason the rule library is showing 0 permission level rules, but still you will be able to do risk analysis at permission level.
A fix for showing the correct number of permission level rules has been provided in SP11. The changes in the supports packages for Access Control can be found in the following notes:
1168508 Compliant User Provisioning 5.3 Support Package (VIRAE)
1168120 Risk Analysis and Remediation 5.3 Support Package (VIRCC)
1168121 Superuser Privilege Management 5.3 Support Package (VIRFF)
1168183 Enterprise Role Management 5.3 Support Package (VIRRE)

Luis
