Adding new fields to customer master

Hi,

I have a requirement to add new fields to customer master, the purpose is to pass the info to other legacy systems

Field1. Need to set indicator - If customer elgieble to buy liquor

Field2. If elgible enter the license number if not leave blank

so above fields in which view of customer master we can enter and how whats the table, programme name.

Hi Satish,

If we are using Site Master - then Can we use Contact Person .....

We can use Deaprtment field as ZLIQ - Eligible for Liqour Indicator... and if so in the First Name we can have the values.

HI,

If you do not need the indicator something like X (Yes) or blank (No), then easy solution is to maintain a customer group for the cusomers who are eligible for it. so when you want to extract the data and send it to other systems you can use this customer group.

Field name: KNVV-KVGR1

customizing path: SPRO - IMG - SD - Master data - Business partners - Customers - Sales - Maitain Reserve Fields in Customer Master.

you can create 3 digits alphanumerica entry for it.

Hi thanks for your replies, but still not answered

If I use customer groups, if customer eligble to buy liquor, I should able to enter the customer licence number, where should I maintian this.

This feild enhancement requires to pass the info to legacy system from SAP.

any thoughts

SAP has provided the standard option of adding up new Fields based on business need. You can also find the same on Customer Master --> Extra --> Additional Data. Below i am also providing you a link for the methodology of adding up new fields.

Dear Satish ,

You can use the following fields which are mentioned below . These fields are not normally used and the values can be picked in any place for development , for out puts .

Customer Groups :

KNVV-KVGR1

KNVV-KVGR2

KNVV-KVGR3

KNVV-KVGR4

KNVV-KVGR5

The path is as given below :

XD03> Sales area Tab>Click on Extras --> Select Additional Data --> Customer Groups

You can use the below Fields if still unused.General Data > Marketing > Industry & Industry Code 1.

Industry can be used for Indicator (If customer elgieble to buy liquor)

Industry Code 1 used for License Number ( Max 10 Digits).
