Dear Experts,
I want to use only one MIC for different material
example : MIC = ph
Chemical : SODA ASH
ACITIC ACID
CARBON DIOXIDE
1. For SODA ASH - pH range will be 5-10
2. For ACITIC ACID - pH range will be 7-11
3. For CARBON DIOXIDE - pH range will be 1-3
so how we can assign different range with one mic
Please help to me to overcome from this problem

Link to classification pH and put the value in material master classification view.

Sorry about my previous post. I misplaced your issue with other topics.
In your case, you want the one MIC to have various specifications for different materials without any link to the batch classifications. In inspection plan per material, you can unlock the MIC so that the inspection characteristics is changed from reference (hence cannot change any tolerance) to copy (copy the data and you can overwrite). Then, you can change the different tolerance value per inspection plan.
Hope it helps.
P.S. Try also to post into QM forum.
HI,
1. Create you MIC with incomplete copy module.
2. Create seperate inspection plan for each material ans assign same MIC for all with different specification as per the requirement.
and do your transaction activity.
you will find the different specification tolarance for each material at the time of result recording.

Hi Paresh,
If you want to have different values for the same MIC then you need to create MIC as incomplete copy model so that while linkin in Inpection plan you enter the specification limits in the tasklist but here there would be different tasklist for different material. I fyou want to have one tasklist and one mic and different limits for different material means you need use depenent characteristics speification.

Lenin. A
