Hi,
I need the SAP Integration Kit to be installed on clients connecting to BO Edge XI 3.1. Could I take the one for BO Enterprise?
Thanks!
You can use the one found in the installation package of the BO Edge server under Collaterals\SAP Integration solutions. Copy the folder on your clients and start the setup.exe from there.

ad clients: What do I do when the server is running on Linux, the clients on WinXP?
ad server: could I take this Integration Kit within the BO installation directory for the installation of the integration kit on the server or do I have to download it seperately? Are there any differences?
Thanks!
Hello,
Allthough there is no actual difference between the windows and linux version of the integration kit, you would need to download the Linux installer for this software. You can not install windows version on your linux machine as they have different installers. (win32 vs linux)

Two options:
1) Download the WIndows version of the BO Edge Server and just extract the integration Kit directory and install this on your clients.
2) Download the Business Objects integration Kit XI 3.1 for BOE. PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SP3 VERSION AND DO NOT TRY TO INSTALL ANY STANDALONE SERVICE PACKS OR FIX PACKS FOR THE INTEGRATION KIT. IF REQUIRED INSTALL ONLY THE RELATED BO EDGE SERVICE PACKS AND FIX PACKS.

I currently would like to install the SAP Integration Kit on a Linux server machine; BO Edge is running. Where is the difference between the SAP Integration Kit within the BO Edge directory and the standalone download? Which should I preferably take?
Thanks again
