Individual project stock management is not possible in both plants, why?

Hi,

in Master Material in view MRP4, in "Individual/Coll", it is shown:

"If a material managed in project stock is to be procured from another plant using a cross-company-code stock transport order, the indicator must be set to 2 (collective requirements) in the issuing plant because, in this specific context, individual project stock management is not possible in both plants".

I would like to know why it is not possible, and if it could be possible to change the SAP Standard in order to allow it.

You should use Individual/Coll as blank. In that case you can use functionality of Project Stock and Plant stock.

Hi Nitin,

thanks for your quick response. That is true, but even if I do that, I still have a problem because I need to deliver my material from project stock in plant A to project stock in plant B, and this should be done in just one step (I can't move my material from project stock to unrestricted stock in A and then send it to B because it will modify the medium average price.

In other words, i would need movement 643 to work with project stock (from proj. stock to proj. stock) or find an alternative solution.
