Customer Hierarchy Issue

I have created customer hierarchy with Hierarchy node having Account Group 0012 and the child (Customers) having account group 1501. I have created customer hierarchy using VDH1n.

I'm able to create Customer Hierarchy with child nodes assigned. But whenever I try create a Sales Order (VA01) and I enter SoldtoParty code, SAP system goes into endless loop and I have to close the current session. Whenever I remove the customer from the hierarchy I'm able to create the Order. Did anybody encountered this issue? I'm at this moment unable to resolve this issue. Your help is required in this regard.

Hello Mohsin A. Khan;

The problem appears to be caused by inconsistencies between tables

VCKUN and VCNUM.

You can correct the inconsistency at database for the customer

by using SE16. Upon the saving the customer you are inserting the

credit card AMEX AXUHHCGNNXN1001 into table VCNUM and VCKUN. The

problem is that this credit card already exists in table VCNUM so

therefore you can be inserting the same data twice. You need to delete

this entry from VCNUM and then repeat the steps you provided.

The update will not occur following this.
