IDOC to ADP - Issue with Benefits data

Former Member

Hello All,

We are sending an IDOC to ADP using TCODE PC00_M10_OTEM (Export Master Data, HROT_USM). We send only master data changes. For example, during Open Enrollment an employee changes his/her plan options - this is a master data change, the new plan options and new rates are picked up by the IDOC and sent over to ADP.

However, for the employees who do not edit their benefit plans and leave it as it is - technically there is no master data change. But as the new rates for the plan are configured, it is desired to send over the new rates to ensure correct deductions etc.

The IDOC does not pick the employee at all may be its thinking its not a master data change at all.

Will really appreciate it if someone one can share any information on this - if they faced a similar issue and how it was resolved.

Thanks.

Hi,

Usually if there is a change in the cost for a benefit plan it is required that the employee is re-enrolled into such plan as there is no automatic update of the infotype record, as far as I know the new cost will not appear automatically in PA.

And yes if no changes are made in the infotype record then the system will not take them into account for the idoc.

best regards
