XSA vs old urL for administration

Dear expert

We prepare to install sap hana 2.0 SPS03 that contains the new SAP HANA Cockpit using the XS advanced model (XSA).

So my question is : does all web applications mentionned below will disapeare and replaced by advanced XSA applications ? if yes what is the new urls
example for the old url that used since Hana SPS9

  • http://<host>-tenant:<port>/sap/hana/xs/lm/ >>> for application life cycle
  • http://<host>-tenant:<port>/sap/hana/ide/ >>> web-based IDE
  • http://<host>-tenant:<port>/sap/hana/xs/admin/ >>>XS Administration Tool

Regards

    Hi, Abdel,

The tools do not "disappear", you can have old XS Classic tools in SPS03. They are technically installed and running in separate environments/ However, their functionality is covered by tools in XS Advanced so the recommendation is not to use them and switch to the new tools.

You can find their URLs from the CLI with command xs apps but you will have to make a decision about the routing mode first (there is a very basic exploration tutorial to this and other tools here).

I would strongly recommend looking at the administration guide and familiarizing with XS Advanced before migrating. The form the URLs will take will also depend on the routing mode you choose for example. https://help.sap.com/viewer/2c1988d620e04368aa4103bf26f17727/2.0.03/en-US/73596bf87326455e8f2c10b83580d91b.html?q=hostname-based

    Cheers,

    Lucia

    specifically on the cockpit

    https://blogs.sap.com/2018/09/20/my-experience-w-hxe-2-sp03-cockpit-cockpit-manager/
