BEx query error: Error loading template 0ANALYSIS_PATTEREN

Hi,

I have BEx query in BI 7.X, while executing the same in RSRT gives error as:

Error loading template 0ANALYSIS_PATTEREN

Notification Number BRAIN 276

The same query while executing in BEx Analyzer, gives the expected output.

Can anyone suggest me why this error is for and how to correct it?

Hello,

Probably you defined the 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN to be default template for queries under RSRT -> HTML format.

I have a sugestion:

Go to transaction RSCUSTV21

Let all fields blank, SPECIALLY the "Ad Hoc Analysis".

Save

Go to transaction RSCUSTV27

Let all fields blank, SPECIALLY the "Ad Hoc Analysis".

Save

---

With this configuration, you system will use the SAP standard templates.

If the issue persist, reactive the version D of 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN and 0ADHOC templates.

If the issue persist, let me know with more details how you are reproducing.

Hi John,

Thank you so much for your valuable information. The problem is solved now.

The reason for this error was due to wrong entry in the field:Ad Hoc Analysis in both transactions: RSCUSTV21, RSCUSTV27

The value entered was : 0ANALYSIS_PATTEREN which itself is a wrong entry as the std InfoObj is: 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN

I followed the steps as told by you and now I am able to run all queries via RSRT.

I know this thread was resolved, but in my case both transactions show empty values.

Where should I look for the default templates?

Hi Ajanta,

Please try the following:

Try to reactivate the template.Please import all the dependented objects

in BI content as perbelow note 990321.(In RSA1 transaction, goto BI

Content and then select "BEx Web Template 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN", - then,

select the 'Grouping' tab, selecting 'In Data Flow Before' and

activate it again).

Hi,

0ANALYSIS_PATTERN is the default template for the Web Analyzer of the Java/EP based runtime in NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) BI. SAP recommends to use 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN as standard for the BEx Web Analyzer (on the Java/EP runtime). SAP recommends to use 0ADHOC as standard for the BEx Web Analyzer (on the ABAP runtime).

Every Web Template will run with Default Template. If you won't give any Custom Wem Template instead of Default Template System will use 0ANALYSIS_PATTERN Web Template if it is installed.

I checked the web template: 0ANALYSIS_PATTEREN in BI Content. It is in active state. Again I installed it using option: simulate installation.. did not thrown any error. then I transported the same in BI Prd server. Got transported succesfully. But still I am getting the same error while running the query in RSRT.

can any one propose for a solution?
