SAP DM Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object

Hi experts.

I´m using DM 10.1 ST 12

When creating a Word report an error ocurrs: Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.

The log files shows:

Any ideas?

Hi Maria

This is probably an issue caused by a 3rd party component that DM uses (called Aspose). Other customers have reported the same error as you have. It is fixed in Stack 1300

Most of the time, it is caused by text boxes in the word (report / chapter). Once you remove these, it will work

That´s right. The textbox causes the issue. But with ST 13 this is solved.

Hello Maria,
1) Please check SAP Note 2115807;

2) If you updated to Stack 1200 you should recheck that all plugins and applications are of compatible versions according to the file attached to SAP Note 2138656;

3) Try adding an empty paragraph to the Word template of the document with that issue.
