Custom Message Listener in MII

Hello dear all,

Context: ME/MII implementation. I am handling the ERP - ME integration on the topic using SAPMEINT. I am trying to setup a custom Message Listener by cloning a pre-configured one (ex XMIIIDOC03). My problem is after I have configured the custom one in netweaver I can not see it in MII. Could someone help me with this topic? /Provide some documentation?

Best regards and thanks in advance.

Hi Iuliu Alexandru Balea,

why do you need to create the custom message listener in MII when you can use the existing one like christian suggested to execute the functionality.

you can use any one of them.

I don't think you can copy/clone one and use it in MII. You have to configure and use one of the pre-existing ones - XMIIIDOC01, XMIIIDOC02, XMIIIDOC03 etc.

Try doing a security trace on the connection user( the one configured for the connection on the MII side) and see if there are any issues. I have seen where the listener is unable to make some RFC calls it needs to do in the background in order to get some metadata etc. Also check the logs on the MII side. Anyway that would be my best guess.
