No loggin with BO 4.1 SP12 Client Tools

Hello.

I have a issue with the BO 4.1 Client tools SP12. It cannot connect with the BO 4.1 server.

At the first, we have installed BO Client SP01 but, It had some issues then, We decided to install a SP12.

Now, the tools don't connect with the server in some times.

e.g. When I open a report to modify, the WebI Rich Client open and connect correctly.

But, when I open directly the WebI Rich Client and I try to connect to the server, the client say that It cannt connect.

Some idea?

    Hi,

    Please make sure your BOE clients and Server are of same release version.

    Can you give more details on Sevrer version? Where did you install client tools? What is exact error , screenshot will be helpful,

    Hi parnerts.

    Sorry. I give you more details:

    Server: BO Server 4.1 SP5 (14.1.5.1501) on Linux Red Hat 6 64 bits.

    Client: BO Client Tools 4.1 SP12 on Windows 10 workstation.

    Works OK if:

    - Open Launch Pad with Internet Browser with URL http://server:8080/BOE/BI

    - There, I select a Report, I right click on it and select "modify"

    - It opens correctly the Web intelligence Rich Client

    No Works:

    - I open the Web intelligence Rich Client

    - I try to "Login as"

    - A error appers and say something like "it cannot connect" (sorry @Jawahar, Now I'm not at office and I cann't take a screenshot)

    @Vamshidhar: Really? Is it mandatory the same version at server and client? I'm going to try that!

    Thanks guys!

    I have installed the same version and now WebI Rich Client works fine.

    Now, the problem is in anothers tools like Universe Design Tool. It don't work OK. I send a error screenshot.

    Hello again!

    The problem is solved. The second error is due to the firewall. I change the request ports and now all work OK.
