Hi,
I have a query that is based on a cube and DSO through multi-provider. There is a need to add authorization info-object to the query.
What would be the impact if is added to cube only and mapped from multi-provider to the cube, then added to the query?
Will it have an impact on data shown/coming from the DSO somehow?
Br,
Aleks.
Hi,
It depends on the mapping in your multiprovider.
As far as i understand analysis authorization will sit on top level i.e MP. So based on the mapping it will work and fetch the data accordingly.
You can check the impact in RSECADMIN by running the query with the particular user id.

Tested the set-up on the query based on two cubes where authorization relevant attribute came from both of them. Consistently removed it from the cubes and ran the query. The behavior was the same and I could see the same set of data. But in order to let it to work correctly the auth IO needs to be mapped from all info-providers you want to get data from.
