What is the difference between CCMS monitoring and technical monitoring using Solution Manager?

I want to the difference and the advantages that technical monitoring has above CCMS monitoring? what are the additional features? How is it better?

I am not able to find any particular document on the internet.

Further, there are lot of advantages of new MAI based monitoring over CCMS which has been outdated by SAP already. In Solman 7.2 you only have MAI based monitoring and no support for CCMS.

One of the biggest advantages is CCMS has to be done manually for each managed system where as MAI you can use the template concept to design at once and then deploy at once centrally for all system. There are plenty of other advantages as you can check in above links.

Thus, in solman 7.2 whether you do Technical Monitoring or BPM etc the basic behind them is MAI.
