Technologies Involved in Smart metering

Dear Experts,

I have an brief idea about SMART metering like different technologies are involved in it e.g. SAP NetWeaver, IDOCs, Workflows, Mobile technology, Radio/PLC, GPRS, MDUS etc.

Can anybody help me in knowing the number of technologies involved in SMART metering to map it with SAP-ISU. Also would like to know what skills one/ team should have to meet the SMART Metering requirements.

Sachin,

I do not believe SAP@AMI will bring a ton of presentations.

some MDM vendors are Itron, eMeter and OSIsoft. They display very specifically, what you are asking for.

Silversprings for example is a meter and headend vendor.

Even youtube has presentations of these vendors.

Depending on your requirements, that might be some valid starting points to surf.

At least some documentation is available [here in RKT|https://service.sap.com/rkt]. Look in SaP for Utilities, then under ERP 6.0 and then toward the bottom is AMI.

Also, [here in the enhancement pack info|https://service.sap.com/erp-ehp]. Navigate via the bar on left to Industries > utilities then find presentation and release notes for ISU_AMI_1.

there is also a planned education course IUT222 specifically for AMI, and i would expect some cookbook later.
