Not able to maintain the record in "Past date"

Dear All,

Client wants Batch split should happen for the past documents also.

So we planned to change the Batch condition record (VCH2) to the past date.

But system not accepting the past date.

Kindly let me know how to enter the past date in the condition record.

What do you mean the system did not accept the past date? Did it provide any error message?

In VCH2, enter the selection paramter details. Highlight the material and go to menu Edit->Change validity.

Here in the first box put the past date and save the condition record.

To see the details again use t.code VCH2, then click on the strategy info button. Enter the selection paramters and execute. The system will display the validity details with past from date.

I have changed the validity and save the record.

It is not giving any error message. But when I open the record again, it is still showing the current date only.

However, I never click on "Strategy info" button over there. Is there any control lies in that button?

Dear,

Validity on date is the date explain that on which date condition has created. and the Strategy info button shows you all the information about condition like valid from to date and condition other information.
