How can we restrict access to create projects (only proj. def.) in CJ20N?

Hello All,

Can we restrict CJ20N from initiating a build of new project while allowing creation of lower level elements (WBS elements, networks etc.)? How should we do it?

CJ06 transaction is not assigned to our roles.

Yes, we are using roles and authorizations to restrict it.

You can restrict the creation of project definition using any of below authorization objects:

C_PROJ_KOK

C_PROJ_PRC

C_PROJ_VNR -

Provide all activity authorizations except create and change.

Hello Virendra,

We are trying to disable create for project definition only (change project definition is allowed), at the same time create, change... (everything) should be allowed for the lower level elements (WBS, network, etc.).

When we remove create from the project definition nothing changes and this role still has access to create project definition. How exactly should we remove create for project definition only?

Hi,

You cannot change the functionalities of a Standard Transaction. Restrictions to Functionalities like Create / Change / Delete for an object can be given via Roles and Authorisations.
