Hi Guru's,
plz let me know the difference between conytrol keys PM02 & PM03, as I know it......
PM02 - PM External
PM03- PM External services
plz breif in detail.
Thanks in Advance.
Amol
The difference is:
PM03: for the sub-contracted activity is managed on the basis of the service master or conditions and imply then the seizure of the services
PM02 : for the sub-contracted activity is managed by means of a normal purchase requisition
Going with the end user perspective;
For PM02 use in an order operation, tcode "MIGO" will used to receive the service/labor etc as a free text material.
And incase of PM03 use in an order operation, tcode "ML81N" will be used to confirm the service/labor.

Hi,
As Narasimhan told, PM02 is for External Labor. PM03 is for External Service.
PM02 => Equipment will be sent outside for the Maintenance Service.
PM03=> Here the service of that person will be received at plant. PR for Service Master will be created.

Amol,
These are just different control keys. Standard PM02 is used for planning External Labor and PM03 is used for External services.The [attributes|http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_04/helpdata/en/84/9d6d86d5d311d1950200a0c93033d8/frameset.htm] of the control key, play a part in determining what can be accomplished using the same.
