Cost Centre Assignment after Separation

Hi Gurus

One of my positions is assigned to a cost center in OM. Now after I separate the person assigned to this position in PA then automatically the position takes the value 999999. So if I want to do a last payroll run for him how can I assign him a different cost center so that his salary gets posted to an appropriate GL in FICO.
