Crystal Reports: Bar not shwoing

In an effort to auto-highlight bars on max and minimum condition, I am using the following formula on a chart.

if {Command.count} = Maximum ({Command.count}) then Black
else if {Command.count} = Minimum ({Command.count}) then Black
else {Command.count}

With this formula, the report ALMOST works the way I want, but on the chart, the graph does not show the values for max and min. Am I using the wrong color formula? How can I make the missing bars to appear?

    Hi Kenshin,

    I posted a workaround here:

    https://answers.sap.com/questions/751238/crystal-reports-how-to-highlight-lowest-and-highes.html

    Since the other thread is also for the same topic, I'll go ahead and close this one.

    Try using "crBlack" instead of "Black".

    • I also tried creating the max and min values separately and then add them to the main formula.

      If {Command.count} = maximum ({Command.count}) then 1 else 0
      If {Command.count} = minimum ({Command.count}) then 1 else 0

      Then,

      if Maximum ({Command.count}) = {@MaxValue} then crblack
      else if {Command.count} = {@MinValue} then black
      else {Command.count}

      This brings all the bars back, but no change in colors... This is frustrating...
