Delete customs product

Hi there,

does anyone has an idea how to handle "old" customs products or how to delete products in GTS ?

We have transfered all products from the Material Master out of ECC.

Unfortunately, we didn't made use of the User Exit to set a filter while transfering the Material to GTS and now we have to much unused product master records in GTS. That makes the use of e.g. the worklists for classification and so on useless..

I am looking for an option to delete customs products which are not used in any document in GTS (e.g. compliance doc or customs doc). Also I need an idea to mark products as inactive - e.g. in case a material master in ECC is substituded with another, so the old material will be inactive.

Can anyone assist me with that?

Hi Ralf,

try report /SAPSLL/PRODUCT_DELETE it deletes customs products.

--> Disadvantage is 2000 entries per selection.

--> Advantage is this report wont delete product which is used in customs or compliance document.
