Owner of a message created through the Solman - Service Desk

Dear all,

I have just installed the Service Desk in SOLMAN.

My environment :

1. SMP - SAP Solution Manager

2. D01 - Managed system

3. D03 - Manager system.

From D01 or D03, when I create a message (Help - Create Support Message), the message is correctly created in

the Service Desk of SOLMAN (SMP).

But the owner of the message (Created by ...) refers to the user who is referenced in the RFC between D01 and SMP,

not the user who has effectivelly created the message.

In my example, the message information "Created by" refers to user SOLMAND01.

This user exists in SOLMAN - of course - and it is used in RFC SM_SMPCLNT100_BACK.

But I have created message from D01 with user TOTO and I would like to have it display in my message,

not SOLMAND01.

It depends from type of RFC destination between SM and satelite systems. You should to change type of your rfc destination on TRUSTED and in "Created by" fild you will see right user.

Great - that's it !

I have replaced the RFC SM_P04CLNT100_BACK by a trusted RFC between SAP managed system (D01) and Solman.

Maybe you can cehck what Dimity proposed to you above... change RFC setting to make it use current SAP User

Hi,

Could you please confirm the following?

1. The user TOTO exists in Solution Manager

2. There is a corresponding BP created for TOTO.

3. The Identification tab in BP is properly maintained.

==> Yes, TOTO user exist in Solman

==> Yes, TOTO user has its own BP.

3. The Identification tab in BP is properly maintained.

==> Yes, I have defined all managed systems.

Are there other specific information to fill out in "identification" tab ?
