No control cycle defined for material X, prod.supply area XX in plant XXX

Hi Friends,

When i do REM Backflush for one mateial using MFBF, the system show me the error message "No control cycle defined for material XX, prod.supply area XX in plant XX", and the input paraters are:

Qty: 1

material: X

plant: XXX

Prod. Version: XXXX

Could you please show me how to customize in IMG to make the above error message available? how to close the error?

Hi,

Guess it is message LP114. Go to LPK1, specify, mtl, plant & production supply area & create a control cycle.

In the control cycle provide info as to what kind of staging needs to be done pick part, release order etc, along with other details.

Once the above control cycle is setup, it should work just fine.

Revert if you face any issues.

Hi Vivek,

As your instruction, when i tried to generate a control cycle by myself, the system show me the error message "Storage location of storage type XXX must agree with StorLoc XXXX of PSA XXXXXX". And I checked the others control cycle created before through LS41, the input parameters are the same as my current situation, but why the above error showed up? Could you please give some advice?

Note: the production supply area is set to plant level

Hi,

Check the setup done in PK05 for the production supply area & the values maintained in your control cycle.

Not in front of the system to provide the exact steps or do further checks, but based on the message i suspect some setup or master data issue with regards to Storage Type & Storage location.
