We have a HCP license with Cloud IDP tenant.
Before configuring HCP with the Cloud IDP tenant, the default was SCI tenant of SAP itself. This enables all our users who were enrolled in the HCP cockpit to access web IDE and the deployed HTML5 apps via their SAP SCI logins.
Now that I have changed the login tenant under HCP trust to our own SCI tenant, the users provisioned in our tenant can access the HTML5 apps deployed in HCP using our SCI tenant but cant use the WEB IDE via the SCI tenant login.
The web ide can still be accessed by logging into HCP using SCI using s-user ID and navigate to services and then web ide.
Link of an HTML5 app developed and deployed in HCP :
Link of WEB IDE :
I can manage the HTML5 apps i deploy on HCP but default service apps of the account like WEB IDE din't show up but conceptually this is same as a deployed HTML5 app.
My inferences :
HCP Provided services such as WEB IDE only works with SUSER ID even though it is just another HTML5 app in the same HCP account.
Configuring the SCI tenant by changing as custom in trust settings does change the login prompt of web ide link but does not authenticate the user from SCI since web ide has only S-suer id users registered under it.
