i never work with crm system....before i worked with ecc,bw from portal,

is business pkg required to access crm from the portal?

can u give brf idea about -

generally what type of things from crm we need to integrate into the portal?

and what are the prerequisites

what steps we need to take

i need from the basic level.

When you install business package for CRM (you can get it from service marketplace) , you can view standard CRM content (roles), create custom content and view the same in EP . So this is the first thing you need to have .The version etc depends upon your client/organisation needs .

As far as my experience goes we need to integrate crm with the help of roles . As a prerequisite - SSO should be in place .

Check this - . Once you do all this ,you can follow the steps in my thread .

is there any need to change anything in that file or can we use directly?

we can export the certicate from the poral leel using sso2 tcode shall i go through like?

is it same as doing from the admin tool?

Better you recreate the certificates in VA and export it from there itself ( i am not sure if we can use it from system admin) . To be on the safer side export it from VA and then import in CRM system . I guess it should be the same if we export it either way .

Even if you have decided to export from system admin , you need not change anything to that file .To give ratings you can select the radio buttons that appear on the left against every post .

Yes Swapna , we need to maintain it in system object , Open it up and check the (WAS) category . There you need to mention host name (CRM in your case) and may be a few other things . Also you need not worry about such things , your Basis team should look into all this .
