SAP BusinessObjects Central Management Console - Schedule a Recurrence

Using Crystal Report from Version 14.1.1.1036 CR Developer, Product Type Full scheduling a recurrence on SAP Central Management Console (SAP BusinessObjects BI Platform 4.1 Support Pack 2 Version 14.1.2.1121

I save a Crystal Report to "Enterprise" and then I sign into the Central Management Console, Then I navigate to the folder I saved the Crystal Report in, select the report and "schedule" a recurrence to to email an Excel file. Normally, these reports are scheduled for a regular interval and emailed to the user. This has worked successfully in the past for many reports. I can go back to the history of those reports, filter by Status, and see the Recurring Report. They are all functioning properly.

Recurring has stopped functioning. I select the Crystal report in the Central management Console, schedule it:

It says "Pending" until the time for it to run occurs. Then it runs the report and emails an excel file as specified. I don't believe this is correct. I believe at this point, it should have a status of "Recurring" After the instance runs, it updates to "Success"

But, the recurring instance, disappeared. Here is one that is still working correctly. It shows the successful run and it always shows the "Recurring"

Please help me to once again add successful recurring instances.

I know what the issue is - look at the start and end date/time values. You have the report set to run every 6 hours, but the end date/time is 5 minutes after the start date/time. If you leave the default value there or set it to more than 6 hours after the start date/time you'll get a recurring instance. As it is, BOBJ knows that the next runtime would be after the end date/time of the schedule so it doesn't create the recurring instance.

I think I have some of them working. I will know by tomorrow for sure. I will report back.

This absolutely worked! At some point, I started to think the end date was how long it took once occurrence to run. Thank you! This is a real relief.

4.1 Sp2 is a very old product, which is no longer supported by SAP, so you should upgrade to 4.2 line as soon as you can.

I guess that is not an option, hopefully someone will still know the answer.
