GLPLUP : Flexible Budget Upload - Error message GU508

HI Experts,

I've a problem with my Budget upload from Excel to SAP.

The report painter model was created (KP66) wih distribution keys and it is saved on XLS format (from KP34)

The sum row is deleted and the the XLS folder is saved as TXT format for the upload.

When I try to use the flexible upload transaction (GLPLUP) the TXT folder with a correct file description, the following error message appear : "Message no. GU508 - No periods were found for fiscal year variant K4, year - Maintain the fiscal year variant".

The fiscal year variant K4 s appearly correctly created in the system (OB29) and the periods are open for the periods we want to budgeting (OB52).

Thanks a lot for your assistance.

    Hi,

The system may generate error message GU506 or GU508 because Transaction OB29 (table T009B) contains incorrect entries, for example

    1. Entries with year 0000 even though the fiscal year variant is year-dependent. Entries with year 0000 may only exist with a

calendar year-dependent fiscal year variant since these entries are valid for all years.

    2. Entries of irrelevant years, for example, 1901.

Remove these incorrect entries using Transaction OB29.

    regards

    Waman
