We did a merger of Two company code 1000 & 1200 & created an 1800 company code.
we also created an 1800 FM(Financial Management Area).
Now the problem is in integration with Payroll
When SAP HR consultant is using PA30 - changing personnel records.
It happens that when he is changing personnel records of company code 1000 with new data like company code & cost center as per 1800 company code, THE SYSTEM IS EXPECTING FM AREA 1000 IN ASSIGNMENT OF FM AREA TO COMPANY CODE
when he is changing personnel records of company code 1200 with new data like company code & cost center,
THE SYSTEM IS EXPECTING FM AREA 1200 IN ASSIGNMENT OF FM AREA TO COMPANY CODE
WHEREAS WE HAD CREATED A NEW FM AREA 1800 (COMMON) FOR EMPLOYEES OF BOTH COMPANY CODES.
ARE THERE OTHER SETTINGS OF FM AREA (OTHER THEN DEFINING FM AREA & ITS ASSIGNMENT TO COMPANY CODE)?????? IN RELATION TO HR PAYROLL.....
