Original File Replication on Client System

Dear All,

We are able to open and view the orginals sucessfully. However, for many files/originals, every time a user is opening/reading the original, a duplicate copy of the original is getting creating on the client system. Is there any way we can avoid this(because user has to delete this local file everytime) or is it the standard system behavior.

    Hi Asif,

This can be overcome by implementing BADI method DOCUMENT_FILES01~AFTER_START_APPL. This ensures deletion of the original file whenever the user views it, hence no copy is left on the PC of the user.

    Hi Asif,

It's a standard behaviour. Every file is saved in sapworkdir i.e. directory. or client system.

I hope this will resolve the query.
