What is the exact error message that you get? Do you get an ABAP dump? Also check transaction st02 for your memory..

Are you trying to execute these activities on the client that you are currently importing? If so, please wait until the client import has finished successfully.

HI MARK,

thanks for your valuable suggestion, now my client importing is running that's the reason for users are not able to logged in into that server?

thanks & regards

Well, that depends... If users are trying to logon to the client that is currently importing, that it would make sense that they cannot logon..

If you are performing an import of eg. client 100 of customizing only and users are logging on to client 200, than there shouldn't be any problem.

That's strange... What error do they get when logging in? Is the system log mentioning something about this? It could be that all work processes are occupied, or that the system is dramatically slow due to the import.

Well, like I'm just asking you; what error are the users getting? is there anything shown in the SAP system log? are all work processes occupied? is there a file system full?

Kind regards,

So you are also not able? Check the wp table with dpmon pf=/sapmnt/SID/profile/<instance profile>

And check if you have a full file system..

You can also check the dev_w trace files in the work directory or your instance.

You should check the workprocess table to see if all processes are occupied. (in dpmon option m -> p) Also check the filesystems (disks) of your system, to see if anything is full.

Kind regards,

Mark

Looks like all wp's are occupied... Check with menu option p - work-process-admin-table. Here you have an overview similar to sm51.

I am repeating myself... Just check with dpmon option m (menu) p - work-process-admin-table

Here you have an overview which is similar to SAP transaction sm51. From this view you can see what's going on with your work processes. You can also kill them if you see that a particular process is keeping the rest up..

In your previous overview is clearly mentioned that 35 out of 35 dia processes are full. That's why no one can logon.

Also check if there is no filesystem full!

Mark have quite patience with you.

If you are not able to check memory consumtion or file system space available,

I suggest that you contact your system administrator / database administrator instead.

A lot of people do notice !

I am not so patient as you are and therefore am unable to answer this kind of question because I would be too grumpy...
