Misinformation about exam cutoff scores

There appears to be incorrect information shared in this forum (SAP Certified Professionals) about exam cutoff scores.

On SAP Education's North America public website (http://www.sap.com/usa/services/education/certification/levels/faqs/index.epx), the certification FAQ clearly states the change in scoring technique to dichotomous scoring. I would suggest you read the question/answer entitled "Is there negative marking? How are the exams scored?" As a result of scoring technique change, all of the certification exams now have their own cutoff score as opposed to the old cutoff score of 70%.

I will discuss the possibility of somehow publically publishing some type of information related to cutoff scores with my colleagues from global SAP Education. An update about cutoff scores will be posted in this forum as well as my Education@SAP LinkedIn group (http://www.linkedin.com/groups?about=&gid=1856570&trk=anet_ug_grppro).

Ken

Hi Ken,

SAP Russia has a list with all the Certifications and the cut off for the same.

http://www.sap.com/cis/services/education/russia/certification/certtest1.pdf

Can you confirm if the list holds true for SAP America as well?

Thanks,

Gopal

Hi Gopal,

I really do not much bother about the cut score, which is really beyond our control. 🙂

There are number of versions roaming on the internet stating that they are cut off scores.

If we religiously practice and read the curriculum books, these cut off marks will make no sense.

Thanks,

Ravi

Hi Ken

Do you have any update on the cutoff scores ? You promised to publish some type of information even though cut-off score varies from course to course

Thanks

Hi Ravi,

Pls check this out. The list has the cut off for all SAP Certifications. Not very sure/responsible about the source and the data.
