BW 7.5: Problem with comment planning on compounded characteristics

Hello,

I've set up a simple query where I want to "plan" both compounded characteristics (Business Unit and Category where is Business Unit is the superior characteristic). I have both of these characteristics as non-MD bearing and created a query where they are both marked as "characteristic as a key figure".

My query looks like this:

The problem I have is that I get the error "Enter a valid value for characteristic ZA_T_CTGY (Category)" as soon as I enter the value in the Category field without even recalculating.

Can you please give me an idea of how I can solve this issue?

there exist some 'client-side' checks; some parameter in table RSADMIN might be missing, cf. notes
