XI/PI Integration

Hi,

I am using xi for EDI transmitions and I am using both sender and receiver communication. Our transport protocol type is FTP and Adapter type and message protocol is file. My sender type communication is working fine but receiver type communication is not working and in R/3 side IDOC is generating correctly.

In xi side no error showing in sxmb_moni. Please help me how to debug the error.

Hi,

How you identified that your receiver communication Chanel not working??

IDoc successfully created in SAP so there is no error in Receiver communication channel,We can monitor File Adapters using Component Monitoring>Adapter engine>communication channel monitoring but not IDoc adapter,because IDoc adapter part of ABAP Stack so it is not possible,that is the reason you thinking Receiver adapter error.

Check if your sender channel is Active or inactive also check your sender Directory Path which you have given . ie the file (Folder pathj) where the PI should pick the File to be processed to Target system .

Is your scenario triggered in XI (any message passed through sender channel)?

Yes i also triggered senarion in sender channel and its working fine and log is showing in sxmb_moni, but my receiver channel is not showing in sxmb_moni.

Confused! The Receiver Channel details would be visible in RWB.

If file path is wrong that time xi system should error in sxmb_moni. but in my case no log generating for receiver systems.

Hi Sumit,

As per my understanding you are using File channel as your sender and Idoc is your Receiver Channel .

when u say sender is working fine and reciver is not ..then check the status of the channel through RWB->Communicatoin channel Monitoring . both the channels are working fine or not . if both the channels are working fine or not . also check the Idoc name .

let me know the exact error message and the ur are getting .so that it will be bit more easy for us to answer .
