Unit Conversion at the time of issuance

Dear

actually i have a base unit of measure KG for one material but we have a application that can convert it in EA (eg 150kg= 1 EA). what i need is, in qa32 can i see EA instead of KG or system calculate the sample size on the basis of EA not in kg.

is there any option ???

i m using 100 percent inspection in sampling procedure

regards

    Hi,

As Base UoM is kg, system will calculate the sample only in kg , not in EA , an alternative unit.

There is a user exit that will show the material in alternative unit and you can do the stock posting in alternative unit.

    hi,

in material master maintain Unit of issue as EA.

In insp. plan, sampling data (enter ur sampling procedure ) --> put Sample unit of meas. as EA.

Now when GR is made it will calculate sample size with Kg only but in result recording screen it will show sample in EA basis.

for ex. GR of 300 Kg is made then as u r using 100% type of sampling procedure sample size will be 300Kg.

but while recording results u can see 2 samples of 150 Kg.
