Handheld cycle count scanning on bin not driven by the system

We currently use WM and the handheld software - LM01 on the RF guns to execute our WM transactions.

If we do a cycle count, we assign people to the inventory document and the user goes to the DCC guided menu and processes the transaction.

However, we have some multi-material, multi batch combined bins. If we do a guided scan, system is proposing the first material on the inventory document and then guides you through one by one.

The issue arises that the this makes the counting complex as the user needs to find the material first and scan it. That might not be the most efficient way.

If it would be possible that when an inventory document is not guided, user goes to the designated bin, scan's all materials in his/her order and count whatever they see most efficient. After confirming the count, the system 'automatically' validates the items from the inventory document (potentially adding a 'find' and a 'zero' count) to complete the count. Is this possible in WM?

If not, is this a function in EWM that might be available?
